My vertical garden in Redington road, Hampstead, is shortlisted for an award in the Society of Garden designers Awards to be held in January 2015. It is also up for the peoples choice award, though voting has now ended, thanks to those who got in on time!
The Awards website has this project description: The brief was to maximise lawn space for the clients’ children as well as creating a beautiful and relaxing garden. High oppressive 5.5m walls presented a challenge and the design incorporates a vertical garden using planes of foliage and dry paddlestone, with pleached hornbeams creating a wave effect above the side and back boundaries. Fingers Crossed!
